Here is the draft card of my great-grandfather, Henry Walfred Anderson, who at his age registered on the fourth registration, which was the old man registration.

Henry Walfred Anderson

Was living at 23 Wyman Road, Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts.

59 years old.

Was born in Goteryd, Sweden on February 25 1883.

Telephone Exhange, m,h,d and his number was 853

The person who will always know his address was James R Watts who lived on 25 Bubier Rd, Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts

He was employed by the Fulton Brothers, which was located on 42 Atlantic Ave. Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts

He was white race, was 6 foot tall, and weighed 145 lbs.

He had blue eyes, black hair, and a ruddy complexion.

There was a scar on his right hand.

Although the registration was officially conducted on 27 April 1942, my great-grandfather registered on the 26th of April. My great-grandfather did not serve in the war. However, I know at least his son, Dexter James Anderson, my grandfather, served in the Navy in World War II.
